Covid - 19 Business Update

On the 13th May the Secretary of State introduced an amendment to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020.

The amendment permits the public to undertake any of the following activities in connection with the purchase, sale, letting or rental of a residential property:
- visiting estate or letting agents, developer sales offices or show homes.
- viewing residential properties to look for a property to buy or rent.
- preparing a residential property to move in.
- moving home.
- visiting a residential property to undertake any activities required for the
rental or sale of that property.

The introduction of this amendment means that Marshall Property are now able to assist our customers with moving home and provide all services to facilitate the purchase, sale or rental of a property.

Over the past weeks we have been working hard to put in place new systems and procedures to protect our team and the public whilst we conduct our business. The changes we have made and implemented can be viewed in detail in our Covid - 19 policy statement accessed through the below link:

Our offices are now back open, visits to our offices are by appointment only. If we do not deem a visit essential then an appointment may not be provided and we will assist our customers over telephone or email.
We are continuing to make use of our virtual viewing and valuation system and ask customers to first consider requesting a virtual viewing or valuation prior to a physical appointment taking place.

Whilst we are pleased to be able to assist our customers with home moving requirements, the health and safety of our team and the public remains our main priority. The increased safety measures we have put in place will mean that it takes us longer to carry out our day to day business over the coming weeks and months. We aim to provide customers with the first class service we have always provided however our response times maybe slower whilst we adapt to our new way of working.
